Just wondering how much of a fill you get for 20 gems? Is it a full fill or only partial? If partial, anyone know how much?

You get 1,000 energy back.

At least that's how it goes for me.

Thanks for quick replies. Needed to know before I waste money to finish Quest.

I wouldn't consider it wasting money! 1000/3 = 333.3 minutes or 5h33m to get back the same amount of energy. Now as far I'm concerned, it's a great strategy as you're overriding time, itself.

The same thing could be said for buying Gems and not Gold in the game. If I stumble upon another player who is over vault (excessively) and I attack them 20x for 9,900 gold each time = 198,000

But, I'm not done. Because I could wait for 3 minutes for each stamina to regenerate or 1 hour total. If I wasn't done playing at the moment, for the great cost of 10 Gems. I override that 1 hour of time, have 20 energy and can knock another over vault player off the map for another 198,000. That won't happen often, maybe rarely, but in ~3 minutes time you could walk back to your kingdom to the cool tune of 396,000.

I could buy (from my splash screen right at this moment) 198,649 Gold for $19.99 USD and for the same price 240 Gems.

I know that I just got 198,000 from my attacks for the simple price of 10 Gems. The math and strategy lends itself to the smart player. (Those who to discredit me, sure, I'm all for it, but remember that same time you could have regenerated your stamina, that player could have spent all their money.)

When I was debating between buying gems or gold I thought to myself the same argument, you articulated it quite well. There is very little point to buying gold in this game as gems give you a much larger utilization for every $ spent.

If you look at the box when it pops to buy more energy... There is a little "1000" in the picture, not very noticeable, but it's there.

Sorry if the answer is obvious, but do you get 1000 energy even if your max energy is less than 1000?

No, you just get the max for your level (eg, if for your level the max energy is 900, then you get 900).

The only reason I can think why a person would buy gold is to reduce time overvault when upgrading buildings.
