Um... yes, Aitrus, that _is_ the spreadsheet that has all the LTE's but I don't believe it has been updated to include this latest Phoenix Rising LTE...

so hopefully in a few hours your link will be relevant...

For stage 11/20, it's 23 XP per hit on the giant, and you have to kill 10 giants! That's only stage 11....

Okay, I seriously don't know who these wonderfully talented people are who update the Google spreadsheets, but they did and now I can say that the Phoenix Rising spreadsheet is finally online :-)

According to an updated spreadsheet, yes there is...most of the mobs are the same but with the "High" designation, i.e. first one is "High Raged Beholder..."

I have a sneaking suspicion that there is a 3rd tier to this quest...I hope I am wrong. It just feels too odd with the bad units and the name change of the tier to Prestige.

I see now, the "Prestige" event goes to 30 steps not 20 like the normal level.

Even at 20/30 prestige I am still single hitting the mobs. Quite a relaxing LTQ.
Only three "good" prizes of 2k+ so far, the final 10 of prestige should be interesting.

I'm on the fence with this one. I've got fair stats I suppose, and recently, past few months, the LTQs have gotten to where I've gone backwards although I've gained stats. Meaning, where months ago, I was gradually progressing further and further into the event, I've begun, falling short of previous levels without throwing gems at the mobs hoping they get scared are run!! Mind you, this gem process begins almost at the turn now. Little into heroic, but you get what I'm saying.

I'm happy that this LTQ 'feels' like the ones of old. With my stats, I should 'expect' a certain amount of easiness, which I'm experiencing with this one. No, the end game isn't the mega unit were used to lately, but lately stats have exploded so much, where do they stop anyway? I won't rehash when large kingdoms were in the 300k range.... Now, we've got players 4-7milion....


I also see this guild boss explode in size. I understand GREE needs to adjust for higher levels, to make challenging, but personally, I'm dreaming if I think I can fight the same fight as someone with those stats, and that's what everything is being geared towards lately.


Here's my suggestion to GREE: (if they even read this)

GLTQ/LTQ/GBoss
Offer two, parallel events; hi level and low level. Make the low level, maybe half of the high in challenge and reward. This will make the game more fun for more people. The higher level players or guilds, will opt for the higher rewards and the increased challenge, while, the lower players/guilds will opt for lesser so they feel they've accomplished something. Maybe, pulling some gems from those not previously spending because they see themselves as actually competitive and close to finishing something as opposed to being lucky to finish normal mode, or in the guild boss event, not even finishing normal.

These ltqs have gone too extreme for 'normal' players. They're geared to much towards the elite player and screwing the rest of KA. Listen, I may be in minority, but I love FUN, I know some of them and I love watching and learning from traditional powers or people that excel, so this isn't a negative towards them, but pointing out to GREE a way to bring the game back to the masses while still providing the challenge for those you don't want becoming complacent.

We see the wars have had improvements with the victory units and consecutive win units. This helps all guilds and a very nice improvement.

Now, if we could see equality in these events, I think the game would experience a rejuvenation to many.

Sorry, but just wanted to express some thoughts...

Agreed! This LTQ has some of my guys smiling for once because they are close to finishing Normal Mode....something that hasn't happened in a long long time for many of them. That's worth it to me.

Making things too hard or unattainable with free-play drives people away.

Haven't spent gems in ages, only ltq's out of reach were the two previous 40 part quests. Got to 39H and 24H for free on those.

Kruppe agrees with Spydrax, as a top stat player, often wonder how on earth lower level players can get through half these quests. Would love to see a fork in the road in some quests, allowing less stat filled players a middle path to stat increases and quest completion. A former missive to gree from kruppe had suggested a decision path for players wishing to focus on attack, building, alliances or defence. Once the ability to choose a path is coded that could easily fit the capability level of players as well.

@Spydrax: they kind of did the two tier thing this time around with the normal and heroic. Although normal will be a challenge for a lot of guilds.

They also did the entry level LTQ last time around (the one that finished with a 20 atk weapon). Wasn't quite tough / big enough to warrant it for most people, but I think it was a step in the right direction.

Thank you guys for the kind remarks. I'm humbled.

I agree that events appear to be heading in the right direction and change always takes time and baby steps. I further agree that this past guild boss, having both levels appear at once, gives a guild the option of direction. Although, the boss levels increased and therefore, even in normal mode, having a guild of say 20/20, with 1/4 gem users, will likely tap out at around level 55. Meaning, they stop at about, what? Mid 30's of normal? Sorry not exact, doing math in my head.... A level 55 is 204,000,000. I only hit with 6m per mega. I'm sure there some vastly larger hitters, but that's an okay hit I'd hope? So, based on these numbers, if 5 gem users are hitting with 6m per mega = 34 hits or 850 gems. That's 1/2 a mountain for the gem players. Of course, you'd have 15 free players, not all 5m per, not all in same country, not all in near time zones, and well, you get the point. That's one level 55 boss, and a quest level requires upwards of 4+?

So, basic arithmetic would say, most guilds, having fewer than 30 members and having less than 30-50% gem users, will not finish the normal mode.

Oh.... Yes, I'm a numbers and stats freak!! I analyze everything.
