This has money grab written all over it. Totally not fun.

It's not even 3 days! The event just started and it's over in 2 days and 8 hours. This is lame.

Also glitchy as ****. Not keeping track of anything I destroy and it's froze on me twice.

The invasion rewards are exactly the same. It is quite unusual

very disappointing from a time stand point; rewards standpoint and quality. i've had to delete and restart a few times and all progress has been lost...

Thank you guys for your feedback. We'll pass this along to the teams. The glitches are already in the works for a fix. Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

If we continue to do shorter events in the future, what would be some suggestions to make these events more interesting and exciting?

1) More attainable goals. 350,000 points in 2 days and 8 hours seems a bit steep. That's not much lower than the 7 day events, which were what..... 450,000 in 7 days?

Napkin math breakdown:

450,000/7 = 64,286 points per day

350,000/2.3 = 152,174 points per day

152,174/64,286 = 2.367

So it's 237% over what already is a really high point total to maintain.

Yeah seems events are harder to get to gold keys. Like needing more points to pass a section. Less event time should equal less points needed to progress to next section.

They do need to be much more obtainable for a time as short as 3 days. Longer events are much much better. Keeps you focused on one goal for longer and It's in reach for some.

Yeah I did the math too. If everything was working correctly and I played non stop for the next 2 days I would still only achive half the points I need. Why would I rack my brain for half the rewards? Don't make any sense. I'll sit this one out GReed! You dropped the ball on this one big time.

You could always just go for the gold keys.

Gree is tying different event lengths to see which ones generate the most income per hour. Whatever event length does that is what we will keep getting.

My thoughts, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I didn't hear any of my guys complaining about a week long event.

They are better than silver keys. My whole team is from gold keys and they throw out more good stuff than anything else

First and foremost, I'm here to troll on behalf of Amadeus until he respawns in a few days. Next, I'd like to request that the length of competitions get put back to at least 5 days to give the community a fighting chance at these rewards. I understand you're running a business and want to milk every penny you can from those willing to give it up. That being said, one of the biggest spenders in my alliance quit today because of the 2.3 day fiasco that is this current event. Also, the response time for support needs work as I'm sure you've read in several posts beyond this one. It seems like you're relying on future customers as opposed to building a solid base from the ones you have now. If your intent is to keep these things short then I recommend throwing in more rewards like gold keys at shorter and more frequent intervals. That's not going to hurt the .03% chance of getting a decent item from them but at least players will feel like they have a better shot at that than staring at a lofty goal that is most definitely unachievable in the short time span. More alliance related events. Alliance wars?? Rip off Clash of clans somehow. I could see that working here. Alliance chat still blows. A global chat would still be awesome.

I agree there. 3 days is too short as previously mentioned 9 billion times. I think 5 days is also too short in my opinion. 7 days worked well. A good balance between a single goal and new events was that 7 day event.

I'm okay with them trying out something new. I think this was aimed at the weekenders. Although they could maybe come up with a hybrid event that runs 7 days but has an added facet for the last 3 days. Would that be better?

Personally i like the short events. For the players who pay to be better than the "causual" player it makes the most sense. I finish most events in 2-3 days anyway and then do NOTHING in the game for 3 days waiting on the next event. This was a stroke of genius. Finally i get rewarded for playing hard and spending to be the best. Im sorry that the causuals dont like it, but frankly I dont care. If you want the best units in a game that has the option of PAYING ....you will end up paying in the end. Otherwize be causual and have a causually good group.

They should change the time of events on a regular basis from between 3 and 10 days. I think that would make much more difference between events. I would really like this but it needs to be done right.
