Do you replenish your loss during raiding or attacking?

I do sometimes but it seems impossible as your gain is less than your loss. Is it ture?

    I do without fail.

Cannot raid without meatshields. Too many killed off means more valuable defensive units die. Only raid or attack you when you know you will make a profit after replenishing meatshields.

I do every time I attack or have been attacked. I always make sure I'm going forward with my attack. In the past I made huge mistake of just attacking without worrying about that and nowadays I still pay the price for such mistake.

Always! As stated by all these smarter than I ppl, it just makes strategic sense. Also, if I lose higher value units, I take another look at their inv and adjust my army accordingly, that seems to help somewhat

Most of times I end up with no money left. No matter how weak the rival is, I lost is greater than my gain. What kind of strategies you guys are using?

i replenish meat shields constantly. only refill the rest of my inventory once every week or two.

i noticed i lose less valor units when i'm not constantly replenishing them.

    Yep.
Do a set of raids on good earners to build up the cash.

Then attack for Valor and replace whatever gets lost along the way.

Think I am doing degradation missions around 150 odd so they usually cost 1.5 to 2 million to complete as I am now chasing people around 130 allies above mine.

Works though, the Valor is slowly building.

I don't know what level you are or how many allies you have but you remind me in many ways. I did so many mistakes that at the beginning was really hard to correct. First, slow down or stop levelling if you didn't do yet; second: drop allies if you feel it's necessary; third: because I'm not expert, you need to read the advice of those that are doing well in the game; and last: be patient with painfull process of rebuilding your army and base. It takes time! I'm still in the process and sometimes I feel frustrated that things dont go faster.

    If you're attacking/raiding for valors:
-only attack someone with much less units. Not more than 25% of your units brought to battle. This will give you low to zero casualties. Downside is this type of players most likely dont have anything worth raiding/attacking for other than the valors and low casualties.

    If you're attacking/raiding for money/BP:
-you got to have lots and lots of meatshields and choose your target wisely. I used to have 800 warthogs and 100 flamethrowers out of 2000 units for my meatshields in order for me to protect my valors and high prices units. Only attack plyrs tht have more than 10 mil, only raids buildings tht give more than the cost of your meatshields.

I always try to replenish immediately - it gives a good impression of the cost of attacking. For me that's also helpful for assessing if my economy can support my battles.

If I notice the same units dying of after a number of fights, I replace them, otherwise I usually leave it till the end of the day and go thro a lists of units lost, and replace them. Usually Submarines; cheap at 66k.

I replenish right away as a matter of habit now.

However, since I have effectively run out of meaningful valor missions (the force degradation missions are now asking the same thing - hit rivals with more than 499 allies - at least 31 times, with the valor prize never shifting from 2000), I've turned back to raiding.

Pulled in well over 4m today without losing a single unit - no glitch; it's all about choosing targets VERY carefully.
