Test event and holiday season planning

    Dear warriors,

This week, we will have a test World Domination event. The aim of this test is to improve performance during this event by changing the maximum number of allies taken into consideration for the event.

The test will start on Wednesday at 9pm PDT and end on Thursday at 9pm PDT.

As of now you can have up to 500 allies taken into account and this number influences how many items are taken into consideration as well.

As you already know calculations for the total strength of players has a massive impact on performance. By reducing the number of allies taken into account from 500 allies to 50 allies we can reduce drastically the number of items and the overall calculation needed.

This is just a test for now, if the impact on performance is good, we will evaluate how many allies should be considered in the event in the future.

This change would impact every players in the same way as only the best items would be considered for everyone and the maximum number of items would be the same for everyone. It may reduces a lot the overall of points everyone scores but the competition should keep roughly the same balancing.

We also would like to let you know that there won't be a gap weekend this coming week but instead it will be move to the end of December so that no event takes place around New Years celebrations. As for Christmas time, the weekend event will start and enf a day earlier so that it ends on the 23rd instead of the 24th of December.

    Thank you for your understanding,

    Your Deca team

    Dear players,

small change of plan for the test event coming this week.

After the last internal test, we realized that there are a few hardcoded elements that we also need to change for the test to run correctly and therefore be relevant so we will postpone it for one or two weeks.

We will inform you as soon as we know when we will have this new test event event running.

    Thank you for your understanding,

    Your Deca team
